She replied: “It is very important to talk about cyberbullying because, in addition to being a crime, it affects many people on social networks. We see that social networks are not in control. So anyone can comment on anything and therefore they affect a lot of people. Hate speech on social networks is a real thing and needs to be taken care of. It really is a young lady’s job to use her speech and her influence to change this story. Today I work on my social networks with this love speech for others, regardless of their creed, regardless of their race, regardless of what they believe. I defend, above all, love, and this can be seen on social media. to be a young lady, as a woman and active in society”.

‘educational activist’

In addition to her modeling career, Maria studies journalism. On social media, the miss, who has more than 32 thousand followers, also describes herself as an actress, polyglot, educational activist and she says she dominates the kilos.

She shares her routine with campaigns, social projects in her city and most importantly, preparing for Miss Brazil. In April, she explained how the desire to participate in the contest was born:

“Because I’m a model, I’ve been preparing for many years. But, when I turned 18, this desire to be Miss emerged, because she is a voice, an inspiring personality and, as a communicator, I am very fascinated by this whole universe and the power it brings to society,” she said in a video in which she answered questions from followers.

Last week, Maria shared her selection interview and told the judging panel that she had been preparing for the competition for two years. “I see that I need to prove myself more than other candidates for being only 19, but that doesn’t interfere. I’ve always studied a lot and two years ago that escalated even more.”

In a website interview GauchaZHMaria also revealed that she has practiced various sports and works in various fields: surfing, beach tennis, volleyball, handball and dance.

She also said that she has been linked to social projects for years and, in August last year, she launched one of her own. Worshiping What Is Ours is an initiative in which the model holds conferences in different schools to talk about the history, culture and tradition of her city.
