Convicted of rape, Felipe Prior claims innocence in publication

The former BBB Philip Prior first came out on social media after being sentenced to six years in semi-open prison for rape.

In the video posted on social media earlier this night on Wednesday 19, Prior reaffirmed his innocence. “I’m here to say that I’m innocent and that we will win all this,” she said, thanking the messages of support received from fans and launching an appeal to fans.

“I come to ask you to stop messaging the lawyers of those who claim they are being attacked by me. These messages are hampering my defense. All I don’t need right now is more visibility,” he said.

Criminal lawyer Maira Pinheiro, who represents one of the women who sued the former BBB for rape, revealed she received threats from fans of the influencer during the trial.

“I need your strength and understanding right now. It is worth mentioning that I don’t know who these people are sending these messages to. it will contribute to none of that,” he added.

Prior was sentenced to six years in semi-open prison for rape. The decision was handed down in early July by Judge Eliana Cassales Tosi Bastos, of the 7th Criminal Court of São Paulo.

The sanction refers to an accusation formulated in 2020, in which the victim reported being raped by Priore in 2014. In his decision, the judge affirms that there is no doubt that the crime took place and highlights the medical records of the victim, who experiences the laceration in the genital region.

The magistrate also referred to printouts of messages exchanged between the victim and the defendant, as well as the testimony of the two and of witnesses for the defense and the prosecution.

There are three other complaints against the former BBB for rape. If proven, the minimum sentence Prior should receive is 24 years.

Details of the abuse victim suffered

The woman who was sexually abused by former BBB Felipe Prior opened up about the rape in an interview with Fantástico. Anonymously, the victim detailed the moment of her abuse, which occurred 9 years ago and was relived by her after the architect entered the Tv Globo reality show. “I had an anxiety attack that day,” she said, referring to the time Prior first appeared on BBB 20.

The premiere of the program took the victim, now 31, back to the day she hitchhiked with Prior and arrived home bloodied. She was 22 years old, leaving a university party, when she accepted a lift from her former BBB, already known to her.

“He left my friend first, when we were walking towards my house, he stopped the car in the middle of the street, unbuckled my seat belt, started kissing me. He went to the back seat, started undressing me and became aggressive” , She said. He says he tried to resist.

“I said ‘no, I don’t want to, Felipe’, he said a few sentences … he told me to stop playing hard to get, that of course I wanted,” he recalled. Subsequently, the former BBB began forcing penetration.

“How many times do I have to say ‘no’ for the person to understand that he is hurting me? That he is violating me? And he is much stronger than me. I had no way out of that situation. It was very painful. I screamed, he started screaming. a lot of blood came out. it was the scare he had to take to stop the situation, because there was a pool of blood in his car, inside, he asked me if i wanted to go to the hospital, then i said ‘no’, that I just wanted to go home,” she said.

Once there, she says she had to ask her mother for help to stop the bleeding. At the hospital it was discovered that she had suffered a type 1 laceration caused by rubbing the penis. The complaint was presented to the Justice in the sentence which found Prior guilty of the rape.

In her statement to Fantástico, the victim also explained why it took her so long to report the case. According to her, it was difficult to see herself as a victim. “I was hiding it from myself, I was avoiding dealing with this situation. I thought that then I could erase it from my mind,” she said.

The woman only came to understand what really happened when she came across printouts of other reports from women who said they were abused by Prior. So, she decided that she should report the case. “It will always be an open wound. What I can do with her today is show the world that no woman deserves to have such a wound,” the victim said.
