Law of Wickedness: This Hollywood Star Skipped Narcissa’s ‘Harry Potter’ Role For This Stupid Reason

A good story about a little wizard glorified everyone: both JK Rowling, who invented it, and the actors who starred in the film adaptation. But the screen images that are already familiar to us could be completely different. For example, this Hollywood star could play the role of Draco’s mother, but… not fate!

The role of Narcissa Malfoy, the purebred witch and mother of Draco Malfoy, was brilliantly played by actress Helen McCrory in the Harry Potter films. Although her heroine represented the villainous side, at one point she actually saved Harry: knowing he was alive, she confirmed to Voldemort that he was dead.

The actress herself died at the age of 52 in 2021 and it broke the hearts of millions of fans of the magic saga around the world.

But it turns out they were planning to cast a completely different actress for the role of Narcissa. The offer came from Naomi Watts. The only problem is that she didn’t even know it. The actress didn’t make it to the audition because a representative from her agency turned down the offer on her behalf without even telling the actress.
