Last month, the singer suffered a thrombosis after surgery to remove myoma and had to have part of her foot amputated. In a new statement on social media, the artist’s husband DJ Ld said:

“Katia had another surgery, she had another amputation because the blood didn’t go to her foot, and it was necessary to amputate above the knee. The surgery went well, everything went well. She continues to recover. Thank you all for your love”.

“She’s a very strong and special woman,” concluded the DJ. Before the amputation, Katia posted a video in which she appears moved, asking fans not to smoke cigarettes.

This is because smoking is one of the risk factors for thrombosis. “I had a very large myoma, weighing five kilos and it hurt a lot. Not enough blood was getting to the vessels. It was crushing my kidneys a lot, I lost one. For this reason I’m doing hemodialysis.
