The doctor said Romeu and Gael have started comparing their family to that of other children

Thales Breta revealed that their children’s questions about the death of Paul Gustav it intensified. In an interview with Conversation with Bialthe doctor explained gael AND romeofour-year-olds “have a harder time processing it.”

The dermatologist commented that he tried to keep the comedian’s memory alive through the photos. “I realized that for them it was a challenge. They left, they changed the subject, they didn’t understand why this father was absent, if it was abandonment”, he said.

Thales’ explanation to his son was “that he got sick and went to heaven. I used to play that joke all the time.” But now that the boys are older, they compare their family to other children:

“Sometimes they asked me: ‘where is the other father’ or ‘why does so-and-so have a father and a mother, another has two fathers, another has two mothers, where is ours?’ And I always explain: you had two fathers, who really wanted to have you. We borrowed two bellies, because we are men and we can’t have them. And they carried you with so much love”.

“One day Romeu asked me, ‘but why did dad Paulo go to heaven?’ he wanted dad Paulo to go to heaven'”, reported the doctor. “I see they have a harder time processing it.”

Paulo Gustavo died in May 2021, aged 42, a victim of complications from covid-19. At that time, Romeu and Gael were one year old.
