Silvana Taques, the mother of Larissa Manoela, broke her silence on the controversial statements of the actress in the interview with “Fantástico”. On Wednesday (16/8), the former businesswoman said she was concerned for her 22-year-old daughter and she admitted she had “no intention of harming her”.
In an interview with Folha de S. Paulo, Silvana commented on the audio exhibited by Larissa in which she says she only has the “title of mother”. The former businesswoman said the message was revealed out of context.
“We talked about her personal, non-work future. I was referring to the fact that she wasn’t following my advice as a mother. I didn’t want to just have the title of mother. I wanted her to listen to me, in fact, as her mother, the person who loves her and he will always love her,” he told columnist Mônica Bergamo.
Silvana, who left her teaching profession to devote herself to Larissa’s career, admitted she was shocked by the reporting of the family dispute on national television. Despite the confusion, she has assured that her love for her daughter has not changed. “My real feeling is one of deep sadness and desolation, and immense concern for her,” she said.
“I love my daughter and will continue to do so. All I have done for years is respect her choices. Nothing has been done, no decisions have been made, without her knowledge or consent. We always ask Larissa to every job. and we made it clear : ‘You don’t have to do it'”, he underlined.

Silvana Taques declined to go into detail about the ownership issues, but clarified that she was trying to protect Larissa Manoela’s future. “I never had any intention of hurting her. Our only intention as parents, when we set up the companies, was to protect Larissa’s assets from third parties. We never wanted to hide anything from her,” she guaranteed.
Furthermore, Larissa Manoela’s mother denied monitoring the actress’ steps and said she tried to spare her suffering. “If there was any fault of mine or my husband [Gilberto Elias], perhaps he must have erred on the side of zeal with her. We made sure she never has to learn anything through pain. We try to spare her suffering,” Silvana said.
