A security camera captured Bruno Lucca’s desperation after Kayky Brito was run over in the early hours of Saturday 2, in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. The images were revealed by TV Globo’s Fantástico.

The former Malhação actor puts his hands on his head after seeing his friend hit by an Uber as he crossed the road outside the pedestrian crossing. The accident occurred around 1.08, in Avenida Lucio Costa, at number 4700, near the Barra Bela condominium.

At first, Kayky Brito was interned in the Miguel Couto hospital, in Leblon, and was later transferred to the Copa D’Or hospital, in Copacabana. The actor suffered multiple concussions and traumatic brain injuries.

According to the latest medical bulletin, Kayky is “sedated, on mechanical ventilation and under the care of the intensive care unit’s assistant team.”
