Netflix revealed plans to develop new games based on its hit series at the farewell of Geeked Week.
After inaugurating the so-called Netflix Games last year, essentially with the games “Stranger Things”, the platform has announced the production of new titles based on “Shadow and Bones”, “La Casa de Papel”, “The Queen’s Gambit” and in the reality show “Playing with fire”.
The game of “The Queen’s Gambit” will be a version of virtual chess, but it will also bring some puzzles for fans of the series. “Shadow and Bone: Destinies” is an RPG-style adventure where the player can immerse themselves in the world of “Shadow and Bones” and develop their own character. The game of “La Casa de Papel” will allow players to “steal” a casino in Monaco, with a Salvador Dali mask and a red suit. And the “Playing with Fire” based game will test the willpower of fans who believe they would do well to make out.
But the launches should only take place in 2023.
See below for a preview of these and other games (not related to the platform’s franchises) that have been developed for platform subscribers.
