According to the press release, the 73-year-old presenter continues to progress in his recovery process from the heart transplant he underwent on August 27.

“Patient Fausto Silva is recovering well after undergoing a heart transplant on August 27, at the Israelita Albert Einstein Hospital. He remains with normal heart function and no evidence of organ rejection. He has been moved to an apartment, where the rehabilitation process continues”we read in the note.
