From a hookah bar to an operating room: how Timur Khaidarov became a star plastic surgeon and how much he earns from it

Khaidarov was born in 1989 in Uzbekistan. Timur and his brother were raised by his mother, his father left the family. The boy was very attached to her and often came to her work. The woman was a doctor and worked in the emergency surgery department. Timur loved to sit in the resident’s room and watch the doctors work – even then he realized that he wanted to follow in his mother’s footsteps.

After school he managed to enter the medical institute in Samarkand. In 2011, he obtained a diploma in general medicine and went to continue his studies in kyiv. After working in his hometown, Khaidarov went to Voronezh, where, not without difficulty, due to document problems, he was able to find a job in a private clinic. I didn’t have to do the most inspiring job: operating on ingrown toenails and removing boils. The ambitious young man became depressed – this was not what he dreamed of. But then life gave him a chance, which, however, she immediately took away – but Timur no longer intended to give up.

The clinic where he worked wanted to expand its team of plastic surgeons. Khaidarov was offered to try his hand at training at the expense of his employer in Moscow, but in the end another person received the “scholarship”. Timur decided that he could handle this task himself. The future star surgeon managed to negotiate with the academic institution to pay for his studies in installments, and to finance his studies, Khaidarov had to take any part-time job. Among other things, he had to find a job in one of Moscow’s shisha bars. In 2015, Khaidarov underwent a six-month professional retraining at the RUDN Medical Institute in the specialty “Plastic Surgery”. In Moscow, the aspiring specialist had a chance to meet the famous plastic surgeon Otari Gogiberidze, who helped him get a job in one of the capital’s clinics, where Khaidarov began to acquire his own clientele. Well, the real breakthrough came when the surgeon got a job in a prestigious clinic on Novinsky Boulevard. During this period, Khaidarov became famous among the stars.

In 2023, Khaidarov’s name is in the headlines due to a series of scandals with stars. A number of celebrities, including singer Slava and Lyubov Uspenskaya, accused Khaidarov of unprofessionalism and negative consequences after undergoing operations. Slava was unhappy with the result of the breast surgery, and Uspenskaya complained about the procedure to change the shape of her buttocks. Makeup artist Gohar Avetisyan, who was also a client of the surgeon, noted that scars from operations take a long time and are painful to heal.

Khaidarov initially ignored the attacks. Instead, his other celebrity clients joined in the public dispute. Yana Rudkovskaya, Philip Kirkorov and Dava stood up to defend his name. However, the surgeon himself then entered the dialogue. So, in an interview he said that the stitches on the body of Slava, who scolded the surgeon the loudest, looked bad, but he immediately put forward a counterclaim: the singer is not came for post-operative check-ups for a year, although the surgeon called him repeatedly.

However, Khaidarov will soon have to explain himself not only to the stars, but perhaps also to the controlling authorities. So, Lyubov Uspenskaya wrote the corresponding appeals and the prosecutor’s office and Roszdravnadzor will check to what extent the activities of Khaidarov’s clinic are legal. Uspenskaya’s daughter Tatiana supported her mother and spoke harshly of the surgeon, calling him a butcher and saying he “should drown.”

Khaidarov is married and has a daughter, Amira. His wife, designer Svetlana Silvashi, was also among those who defended the surgeon’s honor. The woman said that she herself underwent surgery with her husband and honestly showed on social media how much her body had changed. She turned to her husband’s help after childbirth to bring her figure into shape. The woman paid special attention to the fact that she followed all the recommendations and did not miss examinations.

They met in Voronezh in 2016, long before Khaidarov’s fame. A romantic encounter took place in a shopping center. The lovers got married in 2021. For Svetlana, who is the same age as her husband, this is already her second marriage. She was already married and from this relationship a daughter, Sofia, was born.

For several years, Khaidarov has had his own clinic. According to information published on its website, it carries out around a thousand operations per year, of which more than 500 are mammoplasties.

Primary breast augmentation will cost 550,000 rubles, repeated mammoplasty – 850,000 rubles, liposculpture of the abdomen (those same “cubes” like Dava or Kirkorov) – 650,000 rubles. A complete face and neck lift will cost the most – from 1,500,000 rubles.
