Ludmilla speaks out after allegedly liking Anitta: ‘I called off the antics’

The singer said she is on vacation, disconnected and doesn’t know who liked the post

It’s nothing new that singers Ludmilla and Anitta don’t understand each other (read more below). To add more fuel to this fire, an alleged like from Ludmilla criticizing Anitta’s international career went viral on social media and reignited the rivalry between the two.

It all started when an Instagram user posted a message commenting on Anitta’s win at the 2023 VMAs, an MTV Americana award, where she received the award for Best Latin Music Video for Funk Rave. The singer has surpassed international names such as Shakira and RosalĂa.

To the commenter, Anitta has a formula for doing well in these awards. “She is clearly very connected abroad and at every event she performs a song that no one knows, she has won a popular award and maintains the myth of an international career,” she wrote.

The likes of Ludmilla’s official profile appeared among the people who liked the text. The press then went viral on Twitter via the @subcelebrities profile, prompting the singer to speak out.

“Guys I’m on angra “days off” if you notice, I’m not even posting anything, because I’m not online, I received a call and at the same time I deleted the joke but at that moment no one was there, right, ok”, he wrote Ludmilla, suggesting that someone from your team, with access to your profile, was the author of the like.

Singers Ludmilla and Anitta were friends and, in 2019, they recorded a song together, Onda Different, together with American rapper Snoop Dogg. The song was a hit, but the two fell out over the song’s production credits.

Anitta was credited, but Ludmilla was excluded. The argument ended up on social media and, from then on, the two no longer understood each other, which means that the public and the press always keep an eye on when one refers to the other.
