The influencer who popularized ‘NPC Lives’ reveals how much he earned and says he donated it all to charity

Felca became known for bringing “NPC lives” to Brazil and ushering in the new craze on the platform; “All the money you gave me with Live, I will donate it,” she said, specifying that she had no goal of profiting from the content

The influencer Felipe Bressanim, o Felca, became known for popularizing the lives of NPCs in Brazil, a curious format in which the person pretends to be a game character, interacting based on the request of followers. In a video published in the early hours of Saturday 23rd, he showed the result of this content: 31 thousand reaiswhich he claims to have donated entirely to charity.

Felca realized the potential of this format when it had not yet arrived in the country, but it was already being done frequently by influencers in other places. “Not even he imagined the virtual fever he would cause,” the video says.

When did you start yours lives, in three days, Felca says he reached one million followers. Lots of people started doing the same and NPCs became the hot thing right now. The influencer also received a lot of criticism: “he destroyed TikTok”, underlined an internet user.

The format was so successful that the platform limited the number of NPC lives, especially in Brazil.

“I was desperate, I felt like Oppenheimer seeing the atomic bomb,” he joked. “Don’t confuse numbers with content. Just because there are a lot of people watching something doesn’t mean it has value.”

Nonetheless, he showed that, in 7 days, he earned R$31,085.05 – approximately R$4,000 for life, which he does not intend to save.

“All the money you gave me live, I will donate,” he said. Felca said the intent of all the content was to make a joke and that he was scared of the value. According to him the goal was not to make a profit. Then, the influencer divided the entire sum between several charities, listed in the video.

“I didn’t donate anything, it was you who donated”, he concluded.
