The Shorm Festival brings together environmentalists, digital activists and rockers in SP


The event discusses the use of technology and fundraising methods to solve problems that threaten the future of humanity and the planet

The second edition of the Sthorm Festival will take place this Saturday (30th) in the ruins of Usina Monte Alegre, in Piracicaba, about 150 km from Sao Paulo.

The event was created by digital activist Pablo Lobo, environmentalist and philanthropist Ana Paula Junqueira and former Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum.

Shorm is a company committed to mobilizing governments, organizations, communities and investors on pressing issues.

One of his actions occurred during the pandemic, when he created the ViralCure platform. More than R$31 million has been raised by private companies for the treatment of coronavirus patients at the Hospital das Clínicas.

At the Shorm Festival there will be conferences and debates on technological and scientific innovations to fight diseases, preserve the environment and other initiatives with social impact.

Performances by rock icons such as Steve Stevens, Glenn Hughes and Robin Zander are scheduled. Among the Brazilian talents, the Bahian singer and songwriter Agnes Nunes will highlight the participation of young people in social causes.

On October 7, the Sthorm Festival Maués will be held in the city of Maués, in the hinterland of the Amazon, focusing on environmental regeneration, sustainable development of the Amazon rainforest, public health and ecotourism.
