Marcos Oliveira, actor known for the role of Beiçola in the series “A Grande Família”, clarified on Wednesday 4 the reasons that led him to refuse a place at the Retiro dos Artistas. Amid financial difficulties and a series of obstacles, Oliveira detailed his situation in a social media post.
The 67-year-old actor revealed that he no longer receives his pension and, therefore, cannot contribute to the Artists’ Retreat. “So I won’t be able to contribute anything there and they need it, after all Retiro is a condominium full of advantages for those who live there. But I can’t afford it,” he said.
Additionally, Oliveira faces significant debt due to the blow he suffered last year. “The scammer who took out loans in my name last year also took a credit card from my account, and today he owes a debt that if I were to pay now, the money I earned would not be owed to me. Not to mention of the loan he made,” he explained.
Oliveira also claimed to have related rights from Globo and a small income from INSS, but both were compromised by the scammer. “I had an income from the INSS (little, but I had it) and I had the related rights from Globo to receive every year. But I can’t even get that anymore, because it also made loans on my CNPJ account and since the value of the rights goes on that account, I can’t receive more, because Globo deposits it and the bank takes it because there is a debt there. Which the scammer did in my name. I can’t even receive the payment through the CNPJ” , yes he complained.
Relationship with pets
The actor also stressed that he couldn’t live away from his three dogs, who he considers his family. “I have three dogs who are now my family, who were abandoned and I went there and saved them. You don’t abandon anyone in your family. I wouldn’t do something like that to anyone, not even to an animal that I don’t have the ability to understand it. They are the true love I have. If I lose him, I will no longer have a reason to live and I will repeat the same thing that happened to me: my mother abandoned me,” he said.
He would have had to abandon the animals to go to the Artists’ Retreat.
Other artists in a more precarious situation
Finally, Oliveira stated that there are other artists and technicians in more precarious situations than his and who could benefit more from the Artists’ Retreat. “There are artists and technicians in a much more precarious situation than me, who will use the Retiro facility more than me. I don’t think it’s fair, if I can work and earn money to pay the bills. And pay the debts that are owed my name and resolve in court everything the scammer did to me,” he explained.
