Touring Europe together, Sandy and Lucas Lima take advantage of their time off from performing to visit Portugal. On the 25th they announced that they are no longer together, after 15 years of marriage, and have decided to maintain their friendship.

This Saturday, the 7th, the former couple ‘toured’ around Lisbon, accompanied by Xororó, Sandy’s father. The three visited a bar and took photos with the owner of the place. “We are honored by your visit,” the owner wrote in a photo posted to Instagram Stories.

Last week, Lucas jetted off to Europe to complete his show schedule with Sandy. In addition to Portugal, they will perform in Dublin, Ireland, and London, England.

The couple decided to separate after 24 years together, counting the time they were dating. Together they have a son: Theo, 9 years old. “It was not an easy decision, nor an impulsive one. It was practically 24 years of relationship and 15 years of marriage. With ups and downs, sometimes happier, sometimes less, but always whole and willing to do our best. And we did it,” reads an excerpt from the statement.

“There was no fight, no hurt, no trauma… we could see that this was the best path and we will stop being a couple in the same way we were: with lots of love, respect and infinite friendship,” they stated.
