Fernanda Montenegro takes legal action against her neighbor and requests compensation of R$20,000

Actress Fernanda Montenegro filed a lawsuit against her neighbor, businessman Sandro Fernandes Chaim, in Rio de Janeiro. The information was released by I wait and confirmed by Estadao.

According to the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro, the dispute arose after the entrepreneur carried out work on his property, located in the Ipanema neighborhood, which was not approved by the condominium. Since then, the actress’s apartment has been hit by constant flooding and leaks.

In addition to the problems caused by the works, the entrepreneur’s apartment is in a state of disrepair and is infested with termites. As a result, recently renovated areas in Fernanda’s property, such as her closet, suffered damage, evidenced by blisters and peeling paint.

Faced with the losses, Fernanda Montenegro asked Chaim to make the necessary corrections and also requested compensation of R$20,000 for moral damages. However, Judge Flavia Justus, in charge of the case at the 15th Capital Civil Court/RJ, did not immediately grant the request, citing the need for more information to support her decision.
