Family speaks out after Matthew Perry’s death: ‘Heartbroken’

A Matthew Perry’s family, who played Chandler Bing Friendsspoke for the first time after the actor’s death.

“We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and as a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love,” the family said in a statement published by People.

Matthew Perry was found dead at his home in Los Angeles, US, on Saturday night, aged 28. He was 54 years old. The first suspicion is that the actor drowned in the bathtub/jacuzzi. The LAPD has already requested further tests to determine the cause of death.

The actor’s parents, Suzanne Morrison and John Bennett, as well as his stepfather, Keith Morrison, also prayed at Matthew’s residence, where they were photographed upon arrival.
