Silvio Santos’ daughter explains her father’s disappearance from TV: ‘He’s not the same person’

Cintia Abravaneldaughter of Silvio Santoparticipated in the podcast Cristina Podtudoby the presenter Cristina Rocha, and explained why his father disappeared from television. At 92 years old he declared that he is no longer the same.

“The Silvio Santos you want is on YouTube. He’s not that person anymore. So, it must also be difficult for him to not be that person anymore. He says, ‘I didn’t like playing him, getting old is really bad; it hurts. everything, it makes me the body hurts.” For the artistic side of him it’s difficult, he doesn’t wear the old body of him. And people don’t realize that Silvio Santos no longer exists,” Cintia said.

The presenter’s last appearance on SBT was just over a year ago. Regarding the occasion, Cintia commented that the family was surprised by Silvio’s performance.

“He’s there, old man, the moment he puts on that microphone, he becomes Silvio Santos, he grows, he becomes an entity,” he added.

Due to his advanced age and some gaffes and controversial statements made in recent years, Silvio Santos has stopped recording live programs.

Recently, one of his daughters, Patrícia Abravanel, posted a photo with her father. In the image, Silvio Santos appeared smiling, wearing a coat over his pajamas and with gray hair.
