The students of the Escola Estadual Sapopemba, in the eastern area of Sao Paulo, returned to class this Monday 6th. The activities of the school had been suspended for two weeks after the attack, which occurred in October, which caused the death of one student and injuring others.

The Ministry also informed that it will maintain a shift with professionals from the School Psychologists program, a team from the Victim Reference and Support Center (Cravi), as well as other professionals who will be present in the unit to offer individual and collective assistance. The Municipality’s basic health service units are available to students, staff, teachers and families.
Furthermore, to strengthen the security of the institution, an unarmed private security guard was hired and started working on Monday.
