Police believe three men were involved in the crime, two of whom have already been identified. One of them, Eduardo Seganfredo Vasconcelos, 19, was arrested and charged. The young man is a resident of the condominium and allowed entry to the other two, who are at large.

How did the crime happen?

The authorities are investigating the possibility that Eduardo planned the crime. “The criminals, who are three young people aged between 19 and 22, entered a certain house, knowing that the house where they would go belonged to Bruna Biancardi”, said the delegate.

The young man, who already has a history of drug trafficking, had not lived in the condominium for at least a week. He asked to spend some time with his mother and stepfather, local residents.

“His mother is very surprised, very shaken by what happened. He is a boy of medium-high economic conditions. It was a surprise for his family. The mother claims that he came last week to ask to be with her,” he said. said delegate Mônica Gamboa.

Eduardo confessed to the crime to the police. He entered the condominium by car together with his accomplices and the moment was filmed by a security camera, which made it possible to recognize him and the man who was in the passenger seat. The three armed themselves broke into Bruna Biancardi’s home and took the influencer’s parents hostage. They asked where Bruna and Mavie were, but the police ruled out the possibility of a kidnapping attempt, as the criminals demanded jewelry and money.

Bruna’s mother proved that the home safe was empty. “One of them asked: ‘What do you mean that Neymar’s mother-in-law has no money at home?’. And she said: ‘It’s like you said, I’m just the mother-in-law. I’m not him, I have no money. here,'” Mônica explained.

Then they asked Bruna’s mother to take them to where the child’s jewelry and other valuables were located. In addition to the jewelry, they took five watches, Bruna’s parents’ rings and three luxury brand bags.

“Yes, he knew that the child had jewels. And that’s what we will clarify in the next few days. How did he have this information? Was someone stalking Bruna’s social media? We’ll have to find out about this,” Monica said.

How did the police arrest the suspect?

After the robbery, the three suspects left Bruna’s house on foot, taking all the objects contained in two suitcases to Eduardo’s mother’s house. Subsequently, the young man took the objects and suspects by car to a house in the Jardim Arpoador neighborhood of Sao Paulo.

When he returned home, he left the car at the condominium, took a shower and went out on foot, with the aim of finding the other two. The doormen were surprised by the movement and, when Bruna’s parents reported the crime, they realized that Eduardo could have been responsible.

The police were called and the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) found the young man still walking on a highway near the city. “He said that his intention was to take an Uber further to find his accomplices and divide up the things they had stolen,” said Mônica.

Delegate Mônica Gamboa also specified that Eduardo will be subjected to a hearing with a judge and a prosecutor and will have to have his preventive detention confirmed.

“In the next 10 days of investigations, we intend to recover the stolen objects and clarify who participated in the crime, this third element whose identification we do not yet have, and conclude the police investigation,” said delegate Mônica.
