Eduardo Seganfredo Vasconcelos, aged 19, confessed to the Civil Police of São Paulo that he had planned and participated in the robbery in the home of the Biancardi family in Cotia, in Greater São Paulo. The young man is a neighbor of the victims and intended to “rob Neymar’s in-laws”.

The details of the statement were obtained from the portal Metropolis. Eduardo’s confession took place on the morning of Tuesday 7th, a few hours after the crime and he was arrested in the act.

On this occasion, Bruna Biancardi, mother of player Neymar’s youngest son, was not at home with her daughter Mavie. But her parents, Telma Fonseca Ribeiro, 50, and Edson Ribeiro, 52, were taken hostage, with their hands and feet tied, for just under half an hour.

Eduardo Seganfredo told the police that he had planned the crime on the night of Monday the 6th. He met two accomplices, identified with the nicknames “Bear” and “Europa” to define the robbery. The three were in a bar in the western area of ​​the city of Sao Paulo.

The robbery took place on Tuesday around 3. The three got into the car, using Eduardo’s biometric registration at the condominium.

In his statement, he states that he did not take the victims hostage and that he “limited himself to moving inside the house with his accomplices”.

He also said that the stolen objects would all remain in Europa and that, later, the three would divide the material between them. Three luxury bags, five watches and nine jewels were seized.

The neighbor also said he regretted the crime. He attributed the robbery to his associates, who had “influenced” him to carry out the robbery.

At just 19 years old, Eduardo Seganfredo already has several police experiences. He was arrested for the first time at the end of 2021, a few days after becoming a minor. At the time he was accused of a crime similar to drug trafficking.
