Junior Lima revealed that he suffered from panic attacks and depression after his relationship with Sandy ended. The singer spoke about the topic on Tuesday 21st in the podcast Who can, Pod.

In an interview with Giovanna Ewbank AND Fernanda Paes Lemethe artist said the media created competition between him and his sister and recalled how he dealt with the pressure of success at the time.

“We always had an incredible and very healthy relationship. We always rooted for each other (…) It was painful to see this kind of thing. Because every time they wanted to praise one, they needed to criticize the more. Even today people fall into this trap,” he said.

Then, Junior explained that Sandy had difficulty dealing with exposure during adolescence. “And I didn’t. I started feeling it when the duo ended. There was a period where I was more anxious, I started panicking, a lot of things. Depression came, it wasn’t a deep and diagnosed depression. But a deep sadness, I didn’t want to do anything, I had ups and downs”, he commented.
