As a demonstration of how important the representation is today, every day and always, Gabriel Vicente is preparing to act in the musical “A Pequena Sereia”, a great classic of the Disney universe, in Sao Paulo.
In the Brazilian version, directed by Lynne Kurdziel, the actor will play the charming Prince Eric. In addition to being a very important moment in his career, it also appears as a historic opportunity, after all he carries with immense joy the responsibility of being the first black prince in Brazil within the title of the brand.
Based on the classic short story by Hans Christian Andersen, it follows the life of Ariel, played by Fabi Bang. The young woman is a beautiful mermaid who lives at the bottom of the sea, but who has a great desire to be among humans. After making a pact with the witch Ursula, she leaves the queues to embark on a great adventure, of new discoveries in the world outside the waters.
By releasing his voice, Gabriel will interpret great songs dear and known mainly by lovers of the musical universe, including the song “Her Voice”. Anxious, the artist continues with high expectations to take the stage.
The super production will be on display from July 17 to October 16 at the Santander Theater, in Sao Paulo, and tickets are already on sale on the Sympla website.

In his childhood, Gabriel began to take an interest in the art world and never stopped. He sang in church, neighboring communities, weddings and events in between. At the age of 15 he arrived at the theater and since then he has been part of the cast of great productions such as “Cartola – O Mundo é Um Moinho”, “Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum – O Musical”, “Romeu and Julieta – to the sound of Marisa Monte “.
In 2022 it will be in a Netflix feature film directed by Chris D’ammato and in a podcast in an innovative music series format, which will be distributed by Spotify. The titles of both projects may not be revealed yet, but will be available soon.
