Musician Rinaldo Oliveira Amaral, better known as Mingau, has taken another step in his recovery and managed to give his daughter her first kisses. The bassist of the band Ultraje a Rigor has been hospitalized in the intensive care unit of a São Paulo hospital since early September when he was shot in the head in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro.

On Instagram, Isabella Aglio showed her father kissing her. “I can’t believe it (..) I love you, I love you. I’m about to cry,” says the daughter of the 56-year-old musician. “I’m crying with happiness,” she explains.

Mingau was shot in the head in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, while driving his car in a community dominated by drug trafficking. He was treated at a hospital in the region and was subsequently taken by helicopter to Sao Paulo, where he underwent emergency intracranial surgery.

Porridge, 56, suffered a robbery attempt in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, in the early hours of September 3. During the action the musician was the target of several shots fired by armed criminals. After moving to Sao Paulo, he underwent emergency intracranial surgery, which lasted 3 and a half hours.

In addition to arresting a man suspected of shooting the bassist in the head, the Civil Police identified three other suspects believed to be involved in the crime. An integrated operation tries to locate the trio.

According to delegate Marcello Russo, the identification of the three took place during the operation that captured the man identified as Relíquia, on the afternoon of Sunday 3, on the Ilha das Cobras, in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro. In the action, the police found dozens of portions of drugs, such as cocaine, marijuana and loló, as well as gun magazines, a Glock pistol with a shaved number, a .40, presumably used in the attempted murder.
