In conversation with Serginho Groisman, Rodrigo said that due to his role in the film, he was rejected by the public.

The actor revealed that he did a lot of research and played the role of Lady Di with great respect. Even so, audiences have commented and believe this may have happened because he was considered a television heartthrob.
