Gospel singer Pedro Henrique died at the age of 30 on the night of Wednesday 13th, after falling ill during a performance during a prayer service, in the city of Feira de Santana (BA). According to the band’s information, he had a heart attack.

The record company Todah Music, for which the singer worked, announced his death on social media. “Pedro was a happy young man, a friend to everyone. An only child. A present husband and a super devoted father. There is no pastor or Christian in Brazil who says anything other than this: – Pedro is simple, he is a believer ! What a smile! What friendship! What a voice! The kind of people that are nice to have around!” says an excerpt from the statement.

“The songs in his voice will not die and his legacy will remain through his wife, his little daughter Zoe and so many lives that have been and will be reached by Christ through the recordings of his voice! To Suilan and all family and friends, our deepest regret, our respect, full support in all areas where we can help and our sincere embrace!”, he added.

Pedro Henrique had over 900 thousand followers on his Instagram profile. He often posts photos and videos of his presentations, as well as moments with his family. A month ago the singer also celebrated the birth of his daughter Zoe.

So far, no information has been released about the singer’s wake or burial.
