Subsequently the kidnappers received other photos worth 30 thousand reais, but the 50 thousand still did not satisfy the requests.

It is not certain where Marcelinho Carioca was kidnapped, but since the former player’s car was found by the police in Itaquaquecetuba, the police investigations are concentrated in the municipality. The player’s family is currently with the police.
