The “Bom Dia, Verônica” actress spoke about the sexual assault and exposure she suffered in 2022 and revealed that she reported the attacker at the time
The confirmation came through a letter, published on the artist’s Instagram. She claimed in her report that she had been threatened by a nurse, who she claimed would tell the facts to a columnist. The story began when Antonia Fontenelle said, live, that “a 21-year-old global actress had become pregnant and given the baby up for adoption.”
After the announcement, Klara took a break from social media and work for a while. When she returned, she did not speak about the matter. This Thursday 8, two years after the accident, the actress broke her silence in an interview with the magazine Glam.
“It wasn’t my decision to say anything, I never wanted anyone to know. I thought I could carry all that pain on my coffin and, when I was exposed, I felt extremely vulnerable,” said the artist, stressing that she does not want to be defined by this violence, but by her career as an actress.
Klara explained that it took her more than a year to digest the abuse and her exposure, and that her family suffered alongside her. “I didn’t sleep, my parents didn’t sleep. We cried together for two days and slept for one, because we didn’t have time to assimilate. We will never get used to the idea of what happened,” he explained .
Even working as an actress, Klara and her family have always been discreet about her personal life.
In the interview she did not provide details about the legal action or the child’s adoption, but made it clear that she had reported her attacker. “What I wanted to tell you is that I filed a complaint against my attacker, because even today I am judged a lot by people who think that I didn’t file a complaint. I didn’t do it immediately, but I did it,” she highlighted.
Klara also said that after going through this exposure, she doesn’t want anyone to suffer the same thing. “If the situation doesn’t concern us, we don’t have to understand the decision, we just need to respect it.”
The actress is in the cast of Good morning, Veronica, a Netflix original series in which she plays Angela, a young woman who suffers sexual and psychological abuse at the hands of her father. The third and final season of the production will arrive in streaming on Wednesday 14th.
