Wanting to “bury this story once and for all,” Jojo Todynho released a fifteen-minute video revealing his side of the story about why his friendship with Anitta ended. From what Jojo remembered this Sunday morning, 3, the confusion began when he was in a beauty salon and received a call from the artist.

“One day, while I was in Copacabana, getting my hair done, Anitta called me and said: ‘I’m pregnant.’ And I went crazy. But I had to remain monosyllabic, because there were several people around me. And there? I said, “I’m doing my hair, and when I’m done, I’ll come to your house.” And she said that she would go to the doctor with her mother and she would inform me,” Jojo said.

Later, while she was still in the beauty salon, her cell phone started receiving several notifications. Among the messages was one in which Anitta accused Jojo of sharing information about her life. The singer claimed that a journalist had contacted her asking about her alleged pregnancy, saying the information had been passed on by Jojo.

“I haven’t talked to anyone, I’m here getting my hair done. I’m in a crowded place, how do I call others? Impossible,” Jojo would have said, replying.

The former Fazenda then said that he had contacted his advisor to clarify the matter with the journalist mentioned by Anitta. In the audio, which Jojo exposes in the video, the woman denies Jojo’s involvement in the gossip. Jojo then says he forwarded the audio to Anitta and closed the matter: “Draw your own conclusions.”

In the rest of the video, Jojo explains that this story had already happened “some time ago”, but that it only transpired when it was confined to the reality show A Fazenda.

Furthermore, he reiterates that he would have no reason to want to use this story to appear. “I never had this conversation with her, if her period was late, it wasn’t… We never had this conversation.” Jojo doesn’t say by name who leaked the story.

‘Finished cycles’

Rumors about the reasons behind the end of Jojo and Anitta’s friendship circulate the Internet from time to time. In this regard, Jojo asks people to “change their agenda” and that, for her, what matters is her life itself.

“The important thing is that I am well. The important thing is that I look to the future. My speech is sincere, people. It is without demagogy. I have never been a saint, but I have never had a bad character”, he reiterated.

Regarding his relationship with Anitta, Jojo acknowledges the artist’s talent and potential, mentioning that he also listens to her music while working out. He also says she is grateful for what Anitta has done for her. But now what she understands about the situation is that “cycles end.”
