Juliana Paes spoke about the cancellation she suffered in 2021 for not taking a political position. She the artist revealed that she had to resort to drugs and therapies to overcome it.

The controversy has become a topic of discussion across the country in 2021 it started during the Covid-19 pandemic. The culmination of the crisis occurred when Juliana recorded and released a video advocating for non-polarization and the right to “not feel represented.”

”I became the perfect target. For a long time I was afraid to open my cell phone. I ended up outsourcing my social media to stay away from comments. I was struck by the places they put me… They added labels to me that never described me, they called me ‘Bolsominion,'” she revealed.

The consequences were serious for the actress, who ended up depressed due to all those hateful messages. She said she had to take medications and a lot of therapy to get through it all.

“It took me a while to realize that I was depressed, I had never felt anything like that. But I started having thoughts that weren’t about life, like ‘what are we living for?’, ‘why are we here?’” why are you so important to me?” played here? I didn’t want to come.” She then sought psychiatric help. “I took antidepressants for a while and then stopped. I started therapy, which I had avoided my whole life, and immersed myself in physical training,” she said.
