Rodrigo Hilbert pays tribute to his mother-in-law who died 25 days after cancer diagnosis: “Tequinha, I love you!”

The presenter’s mother Fernanda Lima, Maria Tereza, died last Saturday night, 9, just 25 days after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Fernanda’s husband, also a host Rodrigo Hilbert paid tribute to his mother-in-law this Sunday, 10th.

“I remember the day I saw you for the first time, doing your famous carriage in front of more than 200 people, at the launch of your daughter’s website. That day it was you who won me over,” wrote the son. father-in-law, who said it was a joy to meet you.

In the caption of a video in which he plays the triangle accompanying Maria Tereza on guitar and vocals, Rodrigo declared that he has always been impressed by his mother-in-law’s versatility. “She was a carpenter, carpenter, painter, cook, singer and, incredibly, she played every instrument. But one of your greatest achievements was having built an incredible family,” he posted.

He said he will miss hearing her call him “son-in-law.” And he closed the post with an affectionate message for her. “Tequinha, I love you! I’m sorry for everything!”, he said.

“Teca! My mother! My inspiration for life, for art, for generosity, dedication, irony and grace! My safety net, my biggest smile! They have been difficult days. Very difficult. But there was so much love that I calmed down.” the presenter wrote on Saturday, after Maria Tereza’s death.
