Paolla Oliveira revealed that she went through a strong moment of acceptance of her body. At 41, the actress says that today she is a confident woman, but it took her a while to understand it.

In an interview with the magazine Who, said she didn’t think she was good enough to wear a bikini, for example. She reported that she had worn nice clothing before and thought it was her problem.

”I thought I wasn’t good enough to wear a bikini. Back then I wasn’t quite ready to hear what people would say. When you don’t like yourself, the first thing you want is to change. When you go to wear a dress and it doesn’t fit, you say ‘the dress is wonderful, the one that’s ugly is me’. And then you’ll want to change, go on a diet […] I went so far as to say it was defective,” he said.

Paolla wanted to look slimmer and for a long time wore baggy clothes. She stated that everything had to be accepted by other people.

“I thought I would be thinner, slimmer, that I would ‘fool’ people. I really wanted to be accepted,” the Grande Rio drum queen continued.
