Game of Thrones star Lena Headey is being sued for $ 1.5 million by her former British talent agency Troika. The most curious thing is that the trial concerns the unpaid commissions, related to a participation in “Thor: Love and Thunder”, which was eventually cut from the film.
The actress left the agency in 2020. But the company says Headey owes at least $ 500,000, which is equivalent to 7% of the Marvel movie’s earnings rate, even though she doesn’t appear in the final version with Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman.
The case is ongoing in British justice. In her defense, the actress claims that she owes nothing to the agency for the projects mentioned in the lawsuit, because they were not negotiated by the representatives of the Troika. The invitation would have been made personally by the director of the feature film, Taika Waititi.
The participation of Cersei’s interpreter in “Game of Thrones” would not have been the only cut of the film. In an interview with the Youtube channel Prensaescenario, actor Christian Bale revealed that the scenes shot with Peter Dinklage (Eitri) and Jeff Goldblum (Grand Master) did not make it into the final version of the production. “A lot of things end up being left out of the film, even if it’s beautiful and brilliant scenes,” he said.
Directed by Taika Waititi, “Thor: Love and Thunder” will debut on July 7 in Brazil.
