This Tuesday (23) we celebrate World Book Day. With this in mind, we have come to provide you with all the information you need to know about São Paulo’s most anticipated literary event: the Book Biennial.

This year the Biennale will take place from 6 to 15 September. Be careful though, because the event takes place in a new location. In the 2024 edition, the São Paulo Book Biennial will take place in the Anhembi District.

No information on ticket sales has been released at this time. However, we already know that the event expects 600,000 visitors to visit Anhembi over the 10 days of the event.

The event already has over 150 confirmed exhibitors! These include publishers, bookstores, distributors and independent publishers. This is the case of Ciranda Cultural, Record, Cia das Letras, Sextante, VR Editorial, Faro Editorial, Distribuidora and Livraria Loyola, Livraria da Vila, HarperCollins, Cortez, Labrador, Panini, Girassol and many others.

Finally, it’s worth pointing out that the country highlighted at this year’s SP Book Biennial is Colombia! According to the event organizers, the tribute aims to highlight the rich cultural and literary diversity that Latin America has to offer. The town, in fact, will host an area of 300 m2, where the public will be able to experience a series of cultural activities.
