After criticism from Meghan, King Charles III simplifies the gift for his nephew

King Charles III would like to give his nephew Archie an extravagant gift

Last Monday (06), Archie, Harry and Meghan’s first child, turned 5. To celebrate his nephew’s new age, King Charles III wanted to give him a generous gift. However, Meghan Markle chose to prevent her son from receiving a huge toy house from his grandfather.

According to the Flash! portal, King Charles III, at first, showed a desire to give Archie a large house, made of wood. This is because the monarch gave his first grandson, William’s son George, a similar toy. In this way Carlo wanted to demonstrate that there is no favoritism between his grandchildren and that there are no disagreements in the family.

However, Meghan Markle has shown that she would not want her son to receive the gift. This is because Harry’s wife wants to keep her children away from British royal culture. Therefore, the former actress wants Archie and Lilibet to connect their birthdays to elements in line with an American identity.

“Meghan ‘doesn’t want’ Archie to receive his grandfather’s present because she wants the boy to associate his birthday ‘with American things’ as he is already ‘very curious’ about his family in the UK,” the expert said of royalty by TomQuinn.

Therefore, according to Quinn, Meghan wants King Charles III to give her grandson something less extravagant. Thus reducing her curiosity about her British roots.

It is worth mentioning that Archie was born in 2019 in England. However, the following year the royal baby moved with his family to the United States.
