Actress Mariana Derderian, 44, played the protagonist of the children’s soap opera Floribella (2006) in Chile, he lost his 6-year-old son Pedro in a fire in the early hours of Thursday the 9th. The artist lived with his two children in the Vitacura neighborhood of Santiago, Chile.

According to the newspaper ClarinMariana noticed the smoke around two in the morning and managed to leave the house with her eldest daughter, Letícia, 9, but was unable to save the youngest.

Her ex-husband, journalist Francisco Aravena, 48, was warned by Mariana of the fire, arrived home before the firefighters and tried to save his son, but was injured by the flames. The boy was trapped in the bedroom, which is located on the first floor of the house.
