Medina’s mother publishes a photo with her son and celebrates reconciliation: “My family is all together”

Gabriele Medina and his mother reconciled after a long period of separation. The meeting was revealed through a post on Simone’s Instagram, this Wednesday 15th, the birthday of Sophia, the athlete’s sister.

In the post, the surfer’s mother wanted to express her love for her children and her happiness for the family reunion that celebrated her youngest daughter’s 19th birthday.

“If I could translate what joy is, it would be today, my family all together (I’m missing a piece without Felipe, Analua and Bruna who live in Rio de Janeiro), but they are happy, this already puts me at peace. But coming back to today, we are not only celebrating my princess’s birthday, but the restoration of my FAMILY, good always wins, love will always prevail, that is, Jesus is the center and basis of our Family. I love my children so much, my heart explodes with joy when I hug them, smell them, see them have fun, smile. I LOVE YOU, Charles, thank you for saying yes to our Family, for taking care of us and for never giving up. I love you, I love you, I love you Gabriel, Felipe, Sophia and Fernando, so much. Jesus and you are the reason for my existence!!!!!,” Simone wrote.

This, however, was not the first time that son and mother met after the breakup. Last Sunday, the 12th, Mother’s Day, Medina published a photo in honor of Simone.

Controversial breakup

Medina and Simone lost contact during the surfer’s marriage to model Yasmin Brunet. The athlete’s mother and stepfather, Charles Saldanha, did not accept their relationship.

Faced with controversy, the athlete reduced the amount transferred to the family, increasing disagreements and forcing the family to appeal to court.

Medina and Yasmin’s marriage, however, ended in 2022, marked by further confusion.
