An accident involving two vehicles killed singer-songwriter Guilherme Leon, aged 32, in the early hours of this Saturday the 18th, on the Rodovia Raposo Tavares (SP-270), in Mairinque, São Paulo. The information comes from TV TEM.

The musician was on the road towards Sorocaba (SP) when another car entered the opposite lane and collided head-on with his car. He was returning home after a trip to Goiânia (GO), where he had signed his first recording contract. Guilherme was preparing to release a new song.

Guilherme’s wife, who was also in the car, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle fled, but was found and taken to the police station on Saturday 18th afternoon.
