Preta Gil confesses to having lost two of her ex-husband’s children: ‘Terrible pain’

Preta Gil participated in a podcast, the A thousand and one bullshitand surprise by revealing intimate details of her previous marriage to the screenwriter Rafael Dragaud. In the conversation, the singer confessed to having suffered two miscarriages, one of which she did when she was already in the fifth month of pregnancy.

“He wasn’t born, but I remember him, I pray for him. For a long time I denied this loss, until recently. It took me a while to understand that I had to mourn the baby, do a ritual,” He said. Then, he revealed how he reacted to the news: “It was confusing to talk about calling the obstetrician and taking me to the hospital. Until Rafael told me the baby’s heart had stopped.”

According to Preta, she and her ex-husband were incompatible and, due to a chromosomal malformation, prevented her from carrying the pregnancy to term. “My pain was terrible, but his pain was worse, because he was the first child,” ventilated.
