Antonio Calloni, announced his departure from Globo on Wednesday 29th. The 62-year-old actor had been with the network for 38 years. He published a post on his Instagram to tell the news to his fans.

“Plim, plim, bye bye! It was a long and productive exchange. I learned and I believe I taught a ‘bucadim’. I met a lot of talented people in this incredible soap opera factory that never stops. If it does well everyone, see you soon”start.

The artist made his television debut in 1986, in the series “Anos Dourados”, on TV Globo. He also worked on the network’s productions such as “O Salvador da Pátria” (1989), “Terra Nostra” (1999), “O Clone” (2001), “Caminho das Indias” (2009), “Éramos Seis” (2019) and “Beyond the Illusion” (2022).
