Kate Middleton made her first public appearance in months after announcing her cancer cure this Saturday, the 15th. The Princess of Wales was photographed inside the carriage that was taking her, William and their children to King Charles III’s official birthday celebration.

On Friday, the future queen of the United Kingdom took to her Instagram profile to share an update on her health. According to her publication, she is making “good progress” in recovering from cancer, as was revealed in March this year.

“I have been overwhelmed by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last few months. It has really made a huge difference to William and I and helped us get through some of the most difficult times,” she wrote. “I’m making good progress, but as anyone who has undergone chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and have to give in to resting your body. But on the good days, when you feel stronger , you want to make the most of your well-being,” the princess continued.

According to her, the treatment is ongoing and will last a few more months. She said she was looking forward to attending the King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with her family. Additionally, she said that she hopes to participate in public engagements during the British summer.

“I am learning to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much-needed time to heal. Thank you so much for your continued understanding and to all of you who have bravely shared with me your stories”, he concluded.
