Video: Justin Timberlake Mocks His Own Arrest During US Concert

Singer Justin Timberlake, 43, made a joke last weekend during a show on his world tour Forget Tomorrow World Touron his recent arrest.

He was arrested after being approached by a police officer in New York on June 18. According to documents obtained by the magazine Peoplethe musician allegedly ran a “stop” sign and failed to “stay in the proper lane.” After being arrested, he was released.

Last weekend, Justin performed at the TD Garden arena in Boston (USA) and, on stage, joked about his problems with the law.

“So is there anyone here tonight who drives? No, I’m just kidding,” said the singer of hits like Selfish AND cry Me A River. The audience reacted by laughing.

The musician stated that he had “only one martini” after being arrested, however, the arresting officer stated that the artist’s eyes were “red and bulging” and that his breath smelled strongly of alcohol. He was also described as “disoriented, having difficulty paying attention, slow speech, unsteady gait, and performing poorly on all field sobriety tests administered.”

Justin will return to court on the 26th to answer the charges.
