Iran Lima, Candinho of the ‘Professor Raimundo School’ Dies

This Sunday morning, the 21st, the actor and director died Iran-Limabecame famous for playing the character of Candinho Manso, in Professor Raimundo’s School. He was 88 years old.

The comedian had been hospitalized since Thursday 18th at the Unimed Hospital, in Barra da Tijuca, in the western zone of Rio de Janeiro. According to his family, he recently discovered an abdominal aneurysm and had complications due to the disease.

Iran Lima leaves behind three children from his first marriage and a widow Lucia Baruffaldito whom he was married for 28 years. His wake will be on Monday 22nd, at 10am, at the Memorial do Carmo, in Caju. The actor’s body will be cremated.
