Ralph Schumacherformer pilot of Formula 1 and brother of Michael Schumacherhas spoken out against his ex-wife, Cora Brinkmann, after she claimed that she “was used during the marriage and had the best years of her life.”

On your Instagram profile, Ralph Schumacher shared screenshots of a conversation on Whatsapp. In the documents, dated September 2023, Cora congratulates Etienne, the former pilot’s partner, on their union. From the conversation between the two, it emerges that Brinkmann, in addition to being aware of her ex-husband’s sexuality, was happy for him.

In the messages, Cora says “congratulations” and is “very happy” for both of them. She also points out that she realized that Etienne had married Ralf, since they both wore rings on their right hands. He then corrects her, denying the assumption and saying that in France people usually wear rings on the left side after getting married.

In the caption of the post she published on Instagram, Schumacher I took the opportunity to comment on the matter.

“With all this back and forth, I would like to clarify that Cora congratulated us in September 2023 because she thought we were married. She was happy too. [por nós dois]”, he wrote.

After the post’s backlash, Cora Brinkman She once again criticized her ex-husband, saying that his behavior was “pathetic” as well as “illegal.” “How pathetic does a person have to be to illegally post private WhatsApp messages to hide the truth?” she retorted, again in an Instagram post.

The fight between the two began recently, when Ralf has publicly come out as gay. Regarding the situation, Cora gave an interview to German magazine Der Spiegel. During the chat she recalled the rumors about her ex’s sexuality and said that he always denied it, also specifying that he had psychological problems.

“I asked him to clarify whether what he was saying was true, but he always denied it, saying that I was imagining everything and that I probably needed psychological help.”

Cora and Ralf were married for 14 years. In total they were together from 2001 to 2015. From their relationship they had a son, David, who, like his father and uncle, is dedicated to Formula 1 and dreams of becoming a pilot.
