The author Aguinaldo Silva revealed that he had already “punished” an actress who complained about her character’s excessive language. Without revealing the name of the professional, the screenwriter recalled when he reduced her scenes after a “melodramatic” objection.

“I won’t say the actress’s name, but there was one who called one Sunday night and said, ‘I have 80 scenes to record, I’m like a sponge, I’m so wet I can’t absorb it, give me a break.’ That very melodramatic thing,” she told the podcast. The Nagle.

After the unexpected call on Sunday night, Silva chose to reduce the character’s lines. The decision, however, was not well received by the actress, who contested it again.

“I said, ‘All right.’ I spent two weeks writing some scenes for them, but not many. After two weeks he calls me and says, ‘Come here, do you have something against me? You’re not going to write my scenes anymore,’” she recalled.

The episode was recalled by the author as an example of the amount of work during soap operas: “You have to learn to manage it. He complains because he has so much and then because he has so little,” he added.
