After leaving ‘Hoje em Dia’, Renata Alves underwent surgery; look how it went!

In the last few days the presenter Renata Alves left the program Nowadays, from Record, after receiving medical prescriptions due to a domestic accident.

The morning show host recently fractured her fifth metacarpal, one of the bones in her hand, while doing household chores. She will be away from the small screen during the recovery.

Sought by CARAS Brasil, the celebrity’s communications team updated her health status. Renata’s representatives reported that she underwent surgery last Wednesday, 28, and is doing well.

Regarding her planned return to work on Hoje em Dia, they said that the presenter remains focused on her recovery, but that she intends to return to hosting the program next week.

Renata Alves’ team also pointed out that there is a lot of talk about skin and muscle care, but little talk about bone health. Therefore, she has to comment on this topic in her return to the Record e-magazine.
