Actress Adriana Esteves Opens Up and Reveals She Plans to Retire from Soap Operas After ‘Mania de Você’

The actress Adriana Esteves considering the possibility of moving away from soap operas. At the launch party of Mania de Você, the star ruled out retiring from the work, but commented on a possible farewell to the daily series.

“I like to work. I have no intention of retiring. (But) Maybe from soap operas, yes,” Esteves began. And continued: “When I made Amor de Mãe, I thought it would be my last. (But) After the pandemic, seeing the importance of telenovela as a help for mental health, I changed my mind and I’m here, happy. After Mania de Você, I plan to take a break” , he declared.

For me it’s just another job and I want to do it well, I can’t keep meeting people’s expectations, I’m doing my own thing,” the artist commented about her character in the upcoming nine o’clock soap opera.
