The journalist Daniel Vice34 years old, interviewed the street cleaner attacked by a woman in the Brasilia subway on Friday 30th. In recent days, the video of the boy has gone viral. In the images it seems he is being kicked and slapped.

During SBT Brasilia, Daniel Adjuto thanked the street cleaner for his courage in speaking out about the incident, but also vented, saying that the attacker should be ashamed of appearing on TV. The woman who ran over the street cleaner ran away. The names of those involved were not revealed.

“With all due respect, there is no need to stay behind that dark image, no. I won’t even say your name. There is no need to be ashamed, no. On the contrary. There is nothing that justifies it. She is the one who should be ashamed. We really need your work. And it is not because you are gay. That is also not a condition for you to be targeted by criminals. I am too, so what? It is not because you are a garbage man that makes you smaller. I am here to present a newspaper and I am too. [gay]. Will you curse me too, will you strike me?” said the anchor.

The woman attacked the street cleaner in a train car headed to Ceilândia, in the Federal District. She boarded the car at Guará station and got off at Arniqueiras. In the video, she claims to have been called a “slut.” On the other hand, other subway users do not seem to agree with her. In the interview with Daniel Adjuto, the worker commented that the woman acted with prejudice, because he was a street cleaner and was homosexual.

When asked about his current relationship status, the journalist was categorical: “I’m single, thank God.” He also revealed: “I haven’t kissed anyone today.”
