On a day marked by delays in presentations, the Rock in Rio suffered a loss: Luan Santana has cancelled his participation in the show Forever Sertanejoon Brazil Day, scheduled for this Saturday night, the 21st. The information was initially released by Billboard and later confirmed by the event organizers.

“Luan Santana has cancelled his participation in the show Para Semper Sertanejo. The show will take place today, the 21st, at Palco Mundo, and the time originally scheduled for 9:10 p.m. has been moved to 10:40 p.m. The singer had two shows scheduled today”, the RIR organization informs in a statement.

The start of the festival was delayed by 1:15 this Saturday, which affected the timing of the other shows, changing the scheduled start of the show Forever Sertanejo at 10.40pm

Therefore, Luan will no longer sing along with names like Chitãozinho and Xororó, Ana Castela, Orquestra Heliópolis and Júnior and Simone Mendesin the debut of the country genre at the event. “Showtime [Para Sempre Sertanejo] will be maintained and the lineup will be updated,” the statement concludes.
