Sthefany said the boy was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with scarlet fever, an infection that causes a rash, high fever and sore throat.
“He wasn’t getting better, he started having a high fever, which was unusual for him. In addition, red plaques appeared on his body, which were getting bigger and itchy. That’s when we decided to take him to the emergency room. room”he explained.
